Coleford Historic Market Town Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire

Join the Lotus Drivers Club at one of the best social gatherings and transport shows of the year in the lovely market town of Coleford, situated in the heart of the Forest of Dean, England's first National Forest Park and largest oak woodland. The Transport Festival is spread throughout the town, with the roadsides and parking areas full of Classic Cars, Vintage Bikes, Military Vehicles and more. The transport show takes place on the bank holiday Monday but why not spend the weekend taking in the fantastic scenery and outdoor activities of the Forest of Dean.

Keeping a close eye on the weather for the area and would you just take a look at Sunday! Really hope that this forecast continues throughout the week and that we see a Sunny Easter Monday for the show. The Elan is currently sat all clean and ready for the weekend.

I am hoping to get along with the GT3 but am not 100% sure as I am trying to arrange cover for work and all my normal casual workers seem to be doing something else, I won't know until the morning of the event. (Joys of owning your own business).

It was good to catch up with a few familiar faces that we first met at Colins drive out a few years back, and a warm welcome from those who we haven't met before.

Hope to see you at a few more meets (time / race car permitting!)

If all goes well this weekend at Snetterton we'll try and make it to Malvern for the Lotus show (probably not in the Exige this time)

We would like to thank all those who came to Coleford on the Easter Weekend and helped to make the Show a great success. Some of you came a long way and we appreciated the effort. It was lovely to spend time with old friends and welcome some new ones as well. Hope to see you all at other meets throughout the year.

Thanks Joan and Conway for once again making this a relaxed and friendly event to attend as a club. Only living 5 minutes down the road for a change made for a nice chance to wash the car at 6.30 in the morning. The rain stayed away for the whole day, and although cold it was good to see the streets full of people and some great cars on show. As promised here are some photos from the show:
