Wastegate Porting / Crack
After having removed the turbo and manifold to remove some snapped bolts we decided it was best to get the wastegate ported. Once I had the turbo in hand, it was noticed that there was a hairline crack. I have tryed to highlight this in the photo below. I don't think that porting it will remove the crack far enough back. I have just spoken to SJs who said they looked at one this morning and a crack in that position is irrelevant and will only give a slight loss of pressure (if at all).
